Westec's Interactive Technology Works for Zales

One of the nation's largest jewelry retailers, Zale Corporation relies on interactive surveillance and remote monitoring to protect its employees, inventory and stores. Recently, Zale's protection plan paid off.

In July2006, a silent alarm was activated at a Zale's location in Houston when at midnight two robbers broke into the store. Using Westec InterActive's intelligent video system, the Zale's monitoring center provided police with a description of the robbers and within two minutes, police were on the scene. A chase ensued, and one suspect was quickly apprehended and merchandise recovered.
