In July of 2005 Westec InterActive acquired DV Dallas, a digital video product manufacturer. The acquisition opened a variety of opportunities for Westec to design a suite of products that addressed customer needs. Since the acquisition, Westec has developed four levels of intelligent video recorders that address safety, loss prevention, operations and marketing for some of America’s largest businesses.
In addition to the product offering, being a manufacturer gives Westec the ability to design specific services, tailored to a customer’s direct need; many of Westec’s new services were born from a customer’s request. Most of these services have proven to be revenue builders as well as limit risk and liability.
