At the center of the Westec system is the intelligent digital video recorder, or iVR, that uses advanced technologies to deliver breakthrough performance in digitally capturing and archiving of video footage. Available in four models: iVR1000, iVR3000, iVR6000 and iVR9000; each platform progressively offers more robust security and business performance features, such as video verification, interactive security and intelligent video applications.
With a user-friendly interface, archiving and retrieving stored events is as simple and quick as clicking a button. They combine DVD quality video with months of audio, video and data storage capabilities. The advanced technology allows communication through LAN/WAN and high speed connectivity; making each unit fast enough to offer streaming video to remote locations with adequate bandwidth. By using MPEG-4 compression technology, the iVR provides one of the best viewing and recording options available on a video recording device.

Flexible Recording Options
The Westec iVR series gives a variety of recording options, from 24-hour recording to recording only when a predefined event occurs. Events can include camera motion detection, HVAC abnormalities, or other inputs that can be set to trigger recording, such as alarm inputs.
Advanced features are available to expand the iVR’s capabilities and they include voice prompting, no ‘false-alarms’ engine, full integration with POS, ATM, Access Control and more.
Each iVR delivers independent configuration of each camera’s title, resolution, frame rate, compression setting, record mode and audio recording. Additional customization includes contact and relay settings backup schedule, user access rights, integration setup and much more.
